And build the system to do it again, and again, and again. Forever.

Stop "winging it."

Stop staring at the same 8-bar loop for four hours. It's time to actually start releasing music that gets signed, streamed, and played out.

You know that feeling.

It's that nagging voice in the back of your head telling you that you're meant to do this. You see these artists on stage at festivals. You see the tracklists on 1001Tracklists. You know you belong there too.

But then you open your DAW.

You spend your whole night tweaking a kick sample that was already good. You write a decent loop, get bored because you’re stuck, and start a fresh project. Now you've got a hard drive with 400 unfinished ideas and exactly zero signed releases.

You've been "winging it" for way too long. And honestly, winging it is why you're still stuck in your bedroom.

I'm Blake (aka Fourth Co.) and I've been exactly where you're at…

I didn't start as a pro. I started just like you:

  • Making music for fun

  • Totally disorganized

  • Clueless and guessing

  • Never actually finishing songs

I remember one fateful night in the studio (my parents basement lol), I stayed up all night finishing a song and trying to master it myself. I went to bed thinking I finally made my first banger. I woke up the next morning, hit play, and it sounded quieter and more distorted than every single one of my reference tracks. The bass was flat. The vocals were lifeless. The song was meh.

I posted it anyway.

I put "link in bio" on my IG where I had 206 followers. Not a single person clicked the link.

I couldn't even get my own mom to listen to the song.

After years of failure, this was breaking point…

I knew I had to figure out how to make music that actually sounded like the pros. And equally as important, I knew I had to figure out how to get people to actually care and listen to my music.

The "Aha" moment that changed everything.

The turning point came when I started entering every online remix contest I could find.

I did this because they always included professional sounding Acapellas. But when I downloaded the stems, the secret revealed itself:

I saw all the individual layers beautifully produced to create a single cohesive sound.
It was like an orchestra.

I realized my tracks were missing a lot of those specific, special elements that make a song feel "full." I started to notice how simple making music is once I saw it as a system of layers rather than an “artistic mystery.”

Whether I liked it or not, I figured out that finishing professional sounding music boils down to a single formula:

Composition (5%) + Production (85%) + Mixing (5%) + Mastering (5%) = Banger

If you do Step 1 and Step 2 right, Step 3 is easy.

By Step 4, you're barely touching the knobs.

Most producers spend all their time on the last 10% because they don't have a system for the first 90%. The first two steps make up the DNA, they’re Life and the Soul of a song.

Why 99% of producers never make it.

Producers fail because of 3 very specific problems:

  1. Inconsistency: They do NOT have a repeatable system to finish songs.

  2. Fragile Mindset: They're paralyzed by the fear of someone telling them their music sucks.

  3. Obscurity: They have no brand, no identity, and no way for a fan to find them.

If you don't fix these 3 things right now, you'll still be staring at that same 8-bar loop 3 years from today.

The 90-Day Mentorship to take you from Loop to Label.

Every single day, my DMs are flooded with people asking for tips and feedback. Frankly, it gets on my nerves because random people dropping in for out-of-context feedback is a waste of both of our time.

I can’t afford to waste my time anymore (literally).

Instead, I want to take a few serious people and go "monk mode" for 90 days. We lock in, we use my system, and we change your life.

This isn’t a "course" you buy and forget. This is a 1-on-1 and group program where we custom-build your exact artist development roadmap for your specific sound and goals.

In 90 days, we're going to hit three goals:

  1. Finish 3 Professional Songs:
You'll finish one release-ready track every 30 days. No excuses.

  2. Craft an Authentic Brand:
We'll build a digital presence that feels like you, not some fake influencer.

  3. Build an Unshakeable Mindset:
We're going to rewire your brain to handle the ups & downs of the industry.

Is this for you?

This is for the person who has that inner calling that just won't go away:

  • If you're an intermediate producer stuck in 8-bar loop hell.

  • If you're a DJ who knows that your original music is the only way to get the big festival gigs.

Space is limited. The time is NOW.

I only take a small group at a time so I can give everyone 1-on-1 attention.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste another year of your life falling behind.

The time will pass whether or not you put in the work, so let’s make it happen!

The Chaotic Canadian Who Stopped "Winging It."

I’m Blake, known to the industry as Fourth Co.

A Toronto-born, Chicago-forged artist who locked in and turned my bedroom hobby into 5M+ streams. I started making EDM in 2012, then naturally began DJing when I moved away during my first year of University in 20214.

Regrettably, I “winged it” for 5 years, watching random tutorials here and there, releasing music while posting on social media with the dreaded “Out Now” post that nobody cared about. I had a bit of a brand and persona associated with my music and live shows but no systems in place to scale it.

Then, I took a music theory course at university in 2017, watched some music documentaries on Netflix about famous bands and really got to see the behind of the scenes of how they created and finished music. As much as these guys were party animals, I could see they were real pros and took creating and finishing music very seriously.

My first breakout moment (came in 2018).

I entered an online Galantis remix contest and won!

My song was officially released on Big Beat, the famous dance music sublabel of Atlantic Records, and quickly started racking up streams after getting placed in several Spotify algorithmic playlists.

At point, my song reached the Cardio playlist which had 3 or 4 million followers at the time. With about 40 songs within the playlist, there my remix was next to some of the greats like Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers. I used that leverage to follow up my next single with a release on this now-defunct Sony Music Canada subsidiary called Higher Reign Music Group (I did research a saw several of my fav Canadian artists that we’re blowing up released on there.

But by this point, my parents were nagging me to get a “real job.” And with no proper brand or social media system to scale myself, I took their advice and started working some bs entry level corporate job. By this point, I put my music on the back-burner.

I’ve worked various 9-to-5s in both Canada and the US but I couldn’t bare wasting any more of my time and life force sitting in an office doing mind numbing and soul crushing “work” all day in exchange for a few thousand dollars per month.

I’ve moved away and lived in different cities (Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas), chasing job opportunities telling myself I had to do the "safe, adult thing” and add contributions to my 401K for the next 45 years. But, I could never shake that internal calling telling me to just make one more song, put it out there, and see what happens.

The moment it all changed:

Then, one fateful Friday afternoon in April 2024, my boss in my old finance job called me in for a meeting and said “that’s it buddy, we’re done.”

In that moment, I felt free!

Now don’t get me wrong, I was incredibly scared for the unknown but I felt like I finally had to fulfill that internal obligation within myself to go all out with my artist career.

Fast forward about 2 years later, I’ve:

  • Earned millions of streams on my own music

  • Helped ghost produce, mix and master, and mentor other artists earn millions of streams on their music

  • Blew up my social media followings

  • Consistently earn 10k Spotify Monthly Listeners

  • Have my music supported by some of the biggest DJs in the world on some of the biggest global stages

  • Headlined shows in Chicago, opened for major DJ acts, played my first out of state music festival, booked for out of state shows

  • Have brands and sponsors hit me up with deal offers that would make my old finance boss jealous

And I’m just getting started…

Why I Want to mentor others

Every single day, I get bombarded with DMs of people sending me music, asking for branding and social media tips, solicitations for ghost production and music opportunities, the list goes on.

To be honest, it’s quite overwhelming and hard to filter through.

So, I wanted to start my own mentorship community where I work directly 1-on-1 with fellow like minded people that are ACTUALLY serious about going after their dream in music.

I’m obsessed with learning and always loved teaching others my different frameworks and systems to do things better, faster, and easier.

A secret goal of mine I hope to come out of this program is to build a community of artists and friends that we can all grow and help each other.

I don’t just want to build a family from scratch, I want to build a team that evolves into a family. The difference is that we don’t nurture each other for no reason but instead challenge each other to grow, strive for improvement, and achieve things together. A real family is one that is built on respect, trust, and a shared goal to achieve things together!

Let’s stop wasting time. Let’s start building.
